When you run bootrec /rebuildbcd, it will typically show something like "Total identified Windows installations: 1" followed by a prompt asking Add installation to boot list?. Type Y and press Enter to confirm.

Step 4: If Rebuildbcd Finds 0 Windows Installations

Occasionally, bootrec /rebuildbcd reports 0 Windows installations found, even though Windows is clearly installed. If this happens, the existing BCD store may be too corrupted for the tool to read, and you'll need to rebuild it from scratch with these additional commands:
